Oral history interviews are historical documents that provide firsthand testimony about the past. They reflect the personal memories and perspectives of the interviewer and interviewee, which are not necessarily the positions of Caltech or any other institution. For a more complete understanding of the past, historical researchers typically consult published and archival sources contemporary to the events in question, in addition to oral histories.
